Family 2003

This is our first family picture!  I can’t believe that Emily was ever that little!  I kind of wish she still was!  She was a lot easier to handle then! ;)  Look at her looking at her Daddy!  She was such a Daddy’s girl!

1-4 years

My Mom just reminded me that yesterday was Dad’s 4th anniversary
from the day he had surgery.  The day they found cancer.
The doctors gave him 1-4 years to live.
This is him today.
Mowing my lawn for me because my poor, pregnant hips won’t let me walk today.
He survived Cholangiocarcinoma, (Bile Duct Cancer).
His survival is because of the power of the Priesthood, a lot of faith,
and an amazing inner strength and will to live.
My Dad is amazing to me!
Go Dad!
I can’t tell you how much I love you!

Yay!

Here’s the new look!  It took me all day long to finish it, and, still, it never would have gotten done without Ivon’s help!  Yay!  And, I designed my own blog template out of my scrapbook papers, (without Ivon’s help, mind you!  He’s not much help when it comes to artistic things!).  I am so excited!  Of course, I don’t know that I will be changing this one for quite a while.  I might just have Fourth of July decor up for Christmas!  He he! ;)

Peaches

Here’s another page.
Just finished it.
Sometimes it’s fun to remember how little and innocent they were.
Sometimes it’s hard to look, because you realize how much they’ve grown!
I’ve told them they have to stop growing…
but, do they listen to me?
NO!
Anyways….ENJOY!

Summer Reading Charts

Last summer, we tried reading charts for Emily and Hannah to keep up with their reading skills.  It worked very well!  They’d read ten to fifteen simple books, and get an ice cream cone.  Then, they’d read ten to fifteen more, and get another ice cream cone.  They could work up to four or five treats, and then get a toy at the end when the chart was all full.  I expected this chart to last all summer.  They finished it in a week.  The ice cream was good, though!
So, this summer, we will do something similar.  I just made these charts up this morning.  And, Robby gets one to work on, too!  He needs some extra incentive to get all his ABC’s down before Kindergarten starts this fall.  I would have made one for Christopher, but, don’t know what I should make it for.  He’ll just have to reap the benefits of his older siblings’ hard work!  :)

Potty Training 101 “Part 2″

Yeah, I know.  I can’t get enough.  But, when you go through the stress of potty training, you’ve got to have as much fun as possible!  For the first potty training post, I had wanted to do a scrapbook page of the picture… but, didn’t have time.  (Come to think of it, I still don’t have time!  But, I did it anyway!)  So, now, I want to share it!  He he!
