So, as I sit here, waiting for Mallie to make her debut,
I am trying very hard to keep busy, so I don’t go crazy.
Or, crazier.
Today, I am 38 weeks, and 2 days along.
And, I am running out of things to do!
For the first time in 3 years, my laundry has been caught up for a week or two now.
We have everything we need for Mallie, (I think!).
I mowed and watered the lawn yesterday.
Dishes are done.
Bathrooms are clean.
Floors are clean.
Bags are packed.
Car is cleanish, (it’s hard to keep that one clean with four other kids…)
I have quilted and crocheted until my wrists and fingers are sore…
So, now I just want to show you some of the things I have made for Mallie.
(I can’t wait to see her!)
Nana gave me this quilt top. I love it! I quilted most of it by hand.
I wanted to make some booties and a hat for Mallie to wear in the hospital.
I was hoping that these would take me a while to finish.
They took me less than a day…
And, who can resist such a cute boot pattern?
I couldn’t!
Once again hoping it would take a while to finish…
and once again taking less than a day…
So, you see… I have everything and even extra things ready for her.
Now, I just need the baby!
